Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and have at least 4 years of experience in test systems engineering or hardware design. Your expertise includes writing object-oriented Python for instrument control, and you are well-versed in concurrency and VISA communications. You have a strong background in designing and validating PCBs using tools like Altium or Cadence, specifically for semiconductor test interfaces or precision analog applications. You may also have a Master's degree or PhD in a related field, which is preferred but not required. Your experience includes designing load boards, probe cards, or DUT boards for wafer-level testing, and you have a proven track record of reducing test times in a manufacturing environment through innovative software or hardware solutions. You understand the intricacies of SMU ranges, aperture times, and NPLC settings, and how these parameters impact total test time. Familiarity with diode IV curves, pixel driver circuits, or optical measurement integration is a plus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will define the technical specifications for wafer-level probe cards and manage vendors to ensure mechanical and electrical signal integrity at the contact-point. Your work will bridge the gap between electrical testing and manufacturing yield, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will analyze large parametric datasets using JMP, SQL, and Python/pandas to correlate hardware performance with device behavior, contributing to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your contributions will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.
