Google is seeking a Technical Lead for Calibration Field Tools to guide the technical direction of camera calibration technology. You'll work with C, C++, Java, and Python, and require 8 years of coding experience along with expertise in computer vision and machine learning.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience coding in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or Python. Your background includes at least 5 years of experience in computer vision, graphics, machine learning, or computational imaging. You possess strong technical leadership skills, having led project teams and set technical direction in previous roles. A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred, showcasing your commitment to advancing your knowledge in the field.
Your experience includes working with hardware and software solutions, particularly in lab experimentation and data gathering. You have a proven track record of shipping solutions that require multi-camera calibration, specifically in the areas of 3D reconstruction or mapping. You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full-stack, demonstrating a willingness to adapt as Google's fast-paced business evolves.
As a Technical Lead at Google, you will guide the technical direction of our camera field calibration technology, collaborating with a cross-functional team of display, camera, calibration, and manufacturing software engineers. You will create development and validation plans, drive the equipment selection process, and deliver engineering requirements and standard operating procedures.
