GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Marketing Events Manager to create impactful event experiences that enhance brand presence and build relationships with nonprofit customers. This role requires strategic planning and execution of events aligned with business goals.
You have a strong background in marketing event management, with at least 5 years of experience in creating and executing high-impact events. You understand the importance of aligning events with business goals and audience needs, and you excel at developing strategic event calendars that drive pipeline and brand awareness. Your collaborative nature allows you to work cross-functionally, ensuring that all events deliver a strong return on investment and brand impact. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for managing end-to-end event logistics, from vendor selection to on-site execution, ensuring brand consistency throughout the process.
Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus, as is familiarity with measurement and optimization of event success through defined KPIs. You are comfortable using data to inform your decisions and improve future events. Your creativity shines through in your ability to develop unique event concepts that resonate with audiences and foster deeper customer engagement.
In this role, you will identify and prioritize industry events that align with GoFundMe's business goals. You will develop a strategic event calendar that not only drives pipeline but also enhances brand awareness among nonprofit customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders to create integrated and localized events that deliver measurable results. You will lead the execution of these events, managing all logistics, including vendor coordination, venue selection, and budget management. Ensuring brand consistency across all experiences will be a key focus, as will partnering with stakeholders to host engaging roundtables and forums that highlight product innovations.
You will also be responsible for defining and tracking key performance indicators to measure the success of each event. Reporting on these metrics will help inform future event strategies and optimize the overall event program. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the development and evolution of marketing event processes that support program growth and scalability.
