Amazon is seeking a Process Assistant (Learning & Development) to drive operational excellence through training and development initiatives. You'll be responsible for conducting training sessions and supporting continuous improvement programs within SG Operations.
You have experience in training and development, ideally within an operational context, and understand the importance of driving operational excellence through effective people development. You are skilled in assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback to support skill development. You are comfortable coaching associates on the operations floor to reinforce training concepts and observed work habits. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that training materials are current and aligned with operational standards and process changes. You are proactive in identifying training needs for continuous improvement initiatives and are capable of acting as a change agent during operational transformations and process redesigns.
Experience in a fast-paced operational environment is a plus, as is familiarity with process optimization and change management initiatives. You are passionate about developing associate capabilities and contributing to measurable business impact through training excellence.
In this role, you will conduct engaging training sessions for new hires and existing associates across all operational process paths, ensuring that they are well-equipped to meet operational standards. You will monitor training compliance across the region and maintain accurate training records, which are crucial for tracking progress and effectiveness. You will assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development, ensuring that associates are continuously improving. You will also coach associates on the operations floor to reinforce training concepts and observed work habits, helping them to apply what they have learned in real-world scenarios.
Additionally, you will support the Operational Excellence team in identifying training needs for continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process improvement projects and transformation programs. You will act as a change agent during operational transformations and process redesigns, ensuring that training quality, delivery, and effectiveness meet organizational standards. Conducting audits will be part of your responsibilities to ensure that training quality remains high and aligned with the company's goals.
