What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing signals that serve as precursors to severe reliability issues in Waymo's autonomous driving software. You will conduct root cause analysis to identify and address subtle bugs that may arise during operation. Your work will involve extending the reliability discovery pipelines to cover new use cases, ensuring that the software remains robust across various scenarios.

Collaboration is key in this position — you will work closely with engineers from the Simulator, Planner, and Perception teams to tackle complex cross-functional challenges. Your insights will help improve the overall quality of the software that drives the car, contributing to Waymo's mission of providing safe and reliable autonomous transportation.

What we offer

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $216,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
