Onapsis is seeking a Product Support Engineer (Networking) to join their Technical Support team in Bucharest. You'll be responsible for resolving complex technical issues related to networking and SAP, requiring expertise in troubleshooting and network architecture. This role demands strong analytical skills and experience in network support.
You have a strong background in network support, with experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues across various layers including SAP, database, and application. Your expertise in network architecture allows you to validate and guide customers through requirements, ensuring optimal deployment of Onapsis solutions. You are comfortable performing advanced network troubleshooting, including packet inspection and firewall policy validation, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with engineering and product teams to drive technical resolutions.
You possess a deep understanding of network protocols and architectures, enabling you to effectively address connectivity failures and VLAN communication problems across distributed SAP landscapes. Your analytical mindset helps you reproduce customer issues in lab environments, isolating root causes and confirming product behavior. You are proactive in documenting and prioritizing product defects or enhancements, ensuring continuous improvement in the support process.
Experience with Onapsis modules is a plus, as is familiarity with Jira for tracking product defects. You are a subject matter expert who enjoys mentoring others and sharing knowledge within your team. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues alike sets you apart.
In this role, you will own the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues escalated from L3 Support or field teams. You will perform advanced troubleshooting across SAP, database, network, and application layers using Onapsis modules. Your responsibilities will include providing advanced network troubleshooting and analysis, validating customer network architecture requirements, and guiding them through best practices for product deployment.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to validate, document, and prioritize product defects or enhancements in Jira, ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into product development. Additionally, you will advise customers on system hardening and integration best practices, helping them to optimize their use of Onapsis solutions. Your role will also involve reproducing customer issues in lab or staging environments to isolate root causes and confirm product behavior.
