Who you are

You have 5 to 10 years of experience in tax compliance, particularly in corporate tax matters. Your background includes working in large organizations where you have developed a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements. You are adept at communicating with various teams to gather necessary information for tax filings and are comfortable using tax-related software such as SAP and iAccounting. Your ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide clear guidance to business teams is a key strength. You are also familiar with international tax regulations, which enhances your capability to support Coupang's global operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing corporate tax returns, including year-end corporate tax filings and quarterly tax provisions. You will collaborate with other teams to collect the necessary data for accurate tax reporting. Additionally, you will provide advisory services related to withholding tax for both domestic and international transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will also prepare and manage local tax filings such as local corporate income tax, acquisition tax, and property tax. Responding to inquiries from business teams regarding local tax matters will be a significant part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all tax-related queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
