You have a proven track record of developing and implementing health and safety management systems, ensuring adherence to national and international regulations. Your analytical skills allow you to conduct regular risk assessments and audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective mitigation strategies. You are skilled in leading investigations into incidents, performing root cause analyses, and defining corrective and preventive actions to enhance workplace safety. Your ability to design and deliver training programs ensures that employees and external partners are well-informed about health and safety practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with leadership and operational teams to foster a positive safety culture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take charge of developing, implementing, and continuously improving the health and safety management system, including relevant policies and standards. You will ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements, regulations, and internal guidelines related to workplace safety. Regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits will be part of your responsibilities to proactively identify and minimize potential risks. You will lead investigations into incidents, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and define effective corrective and preventive measures. Additionally, you will design and conduct training sessions, coaching, and awareness programs on occupational health and safety for employees and external partners. By collaborating closely with leaders and operational teams, you will actively contribute to promoting a strong and positive safety culture within the organization. You will also analyze relevant safety metrics, deriving insights for management and maintaining communication with authorities to stay updated on legal developments.
