You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical consulting. Your background includes at least 3 years of people management experience in technical roles, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire teams. You possess 2 years of experience with generative AI techniques, such as LLMs and multi-modal models, or related concepts like language modeling and computer vision. Your expertise in designing and deploying cloud-native distributed systems, data pipelines, or AI/ML workflows in an enterprise environment spans at least 6 years. You have a proven track record of managing technical teams in cloud computing environments and interacting with C-level executives to translate business requirements into technical strategies.

You thrive in a specialized product incubation environment, dedicated to accelerating product market fit for unified data cloud and AI capabilities. You are adept at bridging the gap between powerful platform primitives and cohesive, high-value solutions that enterprises demand. Your role involves leading a new team at the forefront of using Google's generative AI to solve real-world issues for key customers. You excel at building, deploying, and optimizing sophisticated AI agents on data cloud services, ensuring that customer needs are met effectively.

Your ability to resolve ambiguous technical blockers that span multiple product areas is a key strength, as is your capacity to drive systemic improvements in Google Cloud’s product portfolio. You synthesize technical friction points and feature gaps into authoritative engineering requirements, influencing the roadmaps of directors and VPs in BigQuery, Vertex AI, and database engineering. What you'll do
