You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in technology-related sales or business development at a B2B software company. You possess at least 3 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, or developing team members, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire others. Your background includes experience in sales management and a proven track record of delivering against sales attainment goals. You are skilled in working with and influencing executive stakeholders, and you have experience analyzing and presenting business performance data. You excel at managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines, showcasing your adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
As an SMB Sales Manager at Google, you will have the opportunity to transform how small and medium-sized businesses operate by building and managing a team of sales representatives. Your primary focus will be on driving awareness, adoption, and business growth for Google’s public cloud. You will participate in all aspects of building the business, including the attainment of assigned objectives, business planning, demand generation, customer engagement, and at-scale marketing activities. You will manage a weekly forecasting cadence through detailed pipeline reviews and provide regular updates to leadership on progress against quarterly goals. Your role will involve coaching, developing, and maintaining a high-performing culture that attracts and retains talent. You will also manage productive relationships with business development, marketing leaders, and representatives, as well as our partner ecosystem, to drive strategy and execution.
