Apple is hiring a CAD Custom Design or Simulation Automation Engineer to architect and enhance simulation methodologies for Analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs. You'll work closely with circuit designers and EDA vendors, requiring strong knowledge in Cadence simulation and automation solutions.
You have a strong background in CAD engineering, particularly with Cadence simulation tools such as ADE and Assembler. Your experience includes architecting and supporting automation solutions that enhance design workflows. You are proficient in collaborating with hardware development teams and have a keen understanding of Analog and RF circuit design. Your analytical skills allow you to assess use scenarios effectively, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the needs of the team. You are comfortable working with EDA vendors, providing feedback on issues and defining specifications for new solutions. Your communication skills enable you to work seamlessly with in-house CAD disciplines and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Experience with additional EDA tools and methodologies would be beneficial. Familiarity with mixed-signal designs and a passion for innovation in hardware development will set you apart.
