Carvana is seeking an Auto Paint Prepper to prepare vehicles for paint, including tasks like sanding and masking. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive prepping experience.
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join a fast-paced environment at Carvana. You understand the importance of attention to detail in preparing vehicles for paint, ensuring that every step is executed with precision. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair or painting would be a plus. Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and techniques in automotive prepping can help you excel in this role.
As an Auto Paint Prepper at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging, and buffing. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to ensure that every vehicle meets our high standards before it is painted. You will collaborate closely with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure that vehicles are delivered on time. Your role will also involve following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
