Twilio is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and deliver Voice functionality through their ConversationRelay offering. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and AWS to create customized Voice solutions. This position requires significant experience in software engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications in cloud environments. Your expertise includes designing and developing features that enhance user experience, particularly in voice technology. You are comfortable working in a remote-first environment and thrive in collaborative settings where you can share knowledge and learn from others.
You possess a solid understanding of programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, and you have experience with Python for backend development. Your familiarity with REST APIs allows you to integrate various services seamlessly, ensuring that the applications you build are efficient and user-friendly. You are also knowledgeable about cloud services, particularly AWS, which you leverage to deploy and monitor applications effectively.
You embrace agile methodologies and are adept at testing assumptions and iterating on feedback to refine your work.
