Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Prepper to join their team in Blue Mound, TX. You'll be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, including tasks like sanding and masking. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You understand the importance of preparing vehicles for paint, including tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging, and buffing. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any additional experience or certifications in automotive repair or bodywork would be a plus. You are open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by Carvana.
As an Auto Body Prepper at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, ensuring that each vehicle meets the high standards of quality that Carvana is known for. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, where your attention to detail will play a crucial role in the vehicle preparation process. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that vehicles are ready for the next steps in the repair process. Your role may also involve assisting in other areas of the body shop as needed, contributing to a smooth workflow and high-quality outcomes.
