Overview

Amazon is hiring a Transportation Specialist in Bengaluru to manage and grow relationships with key shipper accounts. This role requires B2B/SME customer service experience, preferably in the shipping and logistics industry.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in B2B or SME customer service or operations, ideally within the shipping and logistics industry. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You are collaborative yet data-driven and analytical, constantly striving to expand your understanding of metrics and industry trends. You are street-smart and result-oriented, capable of managing and growing relationships with key shipper accounts effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a positive experience to assigned shipper accounts while supporting Sales Managers in growing volume and maintaining hygiene parameters. You will help refine the business value proposition using local knowledge, secondary research, and past data. You will handle customer inquiries regarding pickup schedules, delivery status, and shipping-related issues, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently. Additionally, you will process and investigate lost, damaged, or delayed package claims, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) individually or in support of Sales Managers when necessary. Your role will involve following standard operating processes to scale the function's operations effectively.
