Your ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team is essential for success in this role. You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation and are eager to learn about hardware and network diagnostics. You have a basic understanding of AWS and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the cloud infrastructure that supports millions of customers.
Experience with hardware repair and network diagnostics is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and a desire to grow within the technology field will set you apart. As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall availability and reliability of AWS Data Center Operations. Your responsibilities will include performing hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. You will install equipment and create documentation to support operational processes. Your role will also involve participating in site-level project work, where you will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to innovate solutions that enhance data center operations.
You will be part of a team that operates 24/7, which means you will need to be flexible with your schedule and willing to work rotating shifts.
