MongoDB is hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure the operational success of MongoDB Atlas customers. You'll work with technologies like MongoDB, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. This position requires critical thinking and experience in cloud operations.
You have a strong background in cloud operations and are excited about the mission of MongoDB. You are a critical thinker who can quickly detect, resolve, or escalate issues that may be broad in scope and difficult to trace. You are prepared to be part of a 24/7/365 global cloud operations team, ensuring the success of customers ranging from early startups to large multinational companies. You possess experience in creating and monitoring system alert dashboards and reviewing critical events and system logs. Your skills in server administration and performance troubleshooting are well-honed, allowing you to access customer instances that underpin their production databases effectively.
Experience with multi-cloud environments and familiarity with database systems will be advantageous. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to grow your career and skills while wearing multiple hats within the operations team.
As a Cloud Operations Engineer at MongoDB, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational success of MongoDB Atlas. You will create and monitor system alert dashboards, ensuring that any critical events are reviewed promptly. Your role will involve accessing customer instances to support their production databases, performing server administration duties, and troubleshooting performance issues. You will collaborate with a worldwide team to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our customers, helping them navigate their digital transformation to the cloud. You will also participate in a weekend support model, ensuring that our customers receive the assistance they need around the clock.
MongoDB offers a competitive salary range for this role in Canada, between $115,000 and $160,000 CAD.
