You are a compliance expert with a strong understanding of crypto regulations and commercial realities — you have a proven track record of providing guidance on complex user challenges and navigating compliance obligations effectively. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to manage complex conversations with external clients and regulators, ensuring clarity for senior stakeholders. Your experience in a hyper-growth tech or fintech environment has equipped you with the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings, where ambiguity is common. You may hold certifications such as CAMS or CRCM, which further validate your expertise in compliance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as a trusted compliance advisor to Stripe's first line business teams, including GTM, Risk, and Ops. You will partner closely with these teams to design user solutions that support their growth while adhering to compliance requirements. Your ability to bridge the gap between compliance obligations and user ambitions will be crucial as you help scale Stripe's crypto and stablecoin business globally. You will actively shape user challenges by providing expert guidance and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop effective solutions. Your role will involve assessing compliance risks and determining when to escalate urgent issues, ensuring that Stripe operates as a responsible steward of the financial ecosystem.
