Samsara is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to drive business growth by bringing IoT solutions to small and medium-sized customers. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in the sales process.

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or IoT solutions. You thrive in high-energy environments and are passionate about helping customers understand the benefits of sensor data. Your ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, including owners and operational managers, sets you apart. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of negotiating complex deals. You understand the importance of building relationships and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You are adaptable and can navigate the unique challenges of selling to small to medium-sized businesses.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to small and medium-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our products can improve their operations. You will manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, typically ranging from $5k to $20k. You will conduct proof of concepts and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring that both the company and the customer find value in the partnership. You will collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback from the field and help shape product offerings based on customer needs. You will also be expected to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
