Who you are

You have extensive experience in account management, particularly within the gaming or technology sectors — you've successfully navigated complex customer relationships and understand the nuances of digital transformation in cloud services. Your strategic thinking skills allow you to identify growth opportunities and foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives and IT leaders, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization. Your curiosity drives you to stay informed about industry trends, particularly in artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are critical to the gaming landscape. You thrive in environments that require collaboration across multiple teams, including technical, product, and executive stakeholders. Your background in managing substantial existing business accounts equips you with the skills to accelerate new areas of growth while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Desirable

Experience in media or platform businesses is a plus, especially when paired with an ability to navigate large engineering organizations. Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As a Principal Account Manager, you will lead the engagement with one of AWS's most significant gaming customers, focusing on deepening the cloud partnership. You will manage existing business while identifying new growth areas, particularly in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data transformation. Your role will involve regular in-person engagement with the customer, typically one to two days per week, to ensure alignment and drive strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with AWS teams to bring together the right resources and expertise to meet customer needs. Your ability to operate as a business owner will be crucial as you navigate complexities and focus on delivering long-term customer impact. You will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with both AWS and customer objectives, ensuring mutual success.
