Overview

Relativity is seeking a Lead Materials Characterization Engineer to develop and inspect materials for the Terran R rocket. You'll play a crucial role in advancing aerospace technology. This position requires expertise in materials science and engineering.

You have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with experience in characterizing and evaluating materials for aerospace applications. Your expertise allows you to solve complex problems related to materials performance and reliability, ensuring that the components used in rocket manufacturing meet stringent safety and performance standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in materials development. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to interpret data and make informed decisions about material selection and processing techniques. Desirable

Experience with advanced composites, welding, and additive manufacturing processes is a plus. What you'll do
