Vanta is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide exceptional support to customers by resolving complex technical issues. You'll collaborate with support and engineering teams to enhance customer experience. This role is fully remote within the U.S.
You have a strong background in technical support, ideally with experience in resolving complex technical issues. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively assist customers through various channels such as email, screen sharing, and chat. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for customer education, ensuring that clients understand the solutions provided. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with both support and engineering teams to deliver the best possible customer experience. You are adaptable and willing to learn about Vanta's product capabilities, integrations, and configurations to better assist customers. You understand the importance of meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and are committed to providing timely support.
Experience in security compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to assist customers in navigating their security needs. Familiarity with technical support metrics and a customer-centric approach will also be beneficial in this role.
As a Technical Support Engineer at Vanta, you will be the final technical escalation point for our Technical Support Specialists. You will own and resolve complex technical issues that customers encounter, ensuring that they receive the highest level of support. You will develop a deep understanding of Vanta's products and services, which will enable you to provide accurate and effective solutions. You will collaborate with the Support and Engineering teams to identify and implement improvements in the support process, contributing to a best-in-class customer experience. Your role will involve educating customers about Vanta's offerings and helping them understand how to leverage the platform effectively. You will also track and report on technical support metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability in the support process.
