What you'll do

As the Director of Learning Design, you will set the vision for Duolingo’s immersive language learning experiences, including Stories, DuoRadio, and Adventures. You will lead a team of learning designers, guiding them in the development of compelling educational content that leverages audio and narrative techniques. Collaborating closely with product leadership, you will ensure that the educational strategies are effectively translated into engaging user experiences. You will oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that each product meets the high standards of quality and effectiveness that Duolingo is known for. Your role will involve regular experimentation with new ideas and formats, as well as analyzing user feedback to continuously improve the learning experience. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team, helping them grow in their roles and develop their skills in learning design.
