What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Benchling, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the platform that supports the world's most innovative biotech companies. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create tools that streamline the research and development process in biotechnology. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and efficiency with which biotech companies can bring their products to market.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our users. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. You will also participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.

Collaboration is key in this role, and you will work alongside other engineers to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance the user experience. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
