Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Principal Product Manager-Tech to help develop Science-Tech Products for NA AMZL Supply Chain organization within the Execution and Planning Science (EPS) team. This role will be critical in implementing AI-driven transformation of supply chain planning processes, particularly focusing on UTR labor planning initiatives targeting implementation from 2025-2027, including the Associate Capacity Service (ACS) for capacity predictions and Continuous Associate Insight Survey (CAIS) for systematic labor preference capture. This Product Manager will work cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders, technology and Science teams and work with a team of talented scientists and SDEs to develop and implement AI agent-based solutions in the growing GenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) space that is business critical to keep innovating. The role involves creating and managing a system of specialized AI agents including Input Management, Analytics, Explainability, What-If, and Risk Management capabilities to transform manual planning processes into intelligent, automated workflows. You will craft a business strategy, feature set, and roadmap that will enable planners to efficiently manage significantly larger site portfolios while enhancing decision quality through data-driven insights. Your focus will be on Science-Tech services that automate routine operational tasks while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions, driving substantial improvements in planning efficiency through intelligent scenario evaluation and selection.

Key job responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver a labor planning product that is business critical for supporting network growth and program expansion in Amazon’s increasingly complex last mile operations.
- Driving alignment across business/tech leaders on critical problems and solutions within the labor planning space.
- Deep diving current state processes and systems, understanding operational challenges within those processes and systems, collaborating cross-functionally to brainstorm and drive the right solution for the business.
- Work closely with Operations, HR, and Labor Planning teams as they onboard to new flexible labor planning products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand pain points and prioritize projects, initiatives, and product solutions
- Collaborating regularly and independently with tech teams to define customer acceptance criteria, test new features and drive the roll-out and adoption by business.
- Making trade-off decisions with the tech team regarding features and priorities within the roadmap based on impact and speed to market.
- Define business requirements with tech teams.
- Owning field and stakeholder communication, trainings, running pilots, system troubleshooting and resolution, etc.


- Innovating on behalf of our customers
- Managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
- Define the feature sets, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for your products
- Prioritizing engineering and science work while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders
- Evangelizing the product both internally and externally
- Working with key stakeholders in the company to identify and drive product solutions to support sales, account management, operations, and customer support
- Defining product requirements based on an intimate knowledge of the customer and technology
- Establishing product goals and reviewing success metrics to achieve commercial success- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
