Overview

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with 15 years of experience in technical program management or a related role within a software development environment. Your 10 years of experience in people management includes managing managers, showcasing your leadership capabilities. You excel at managing complex cross-functional relationships across distinct business units or product areas, driving improvements in execution, velocity, and quality. Your proven track record of leading large-scale organizations reflects your ability to cultivate a culture of high performance, strategic impact, and professional growth. You possess a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and have demonstrated the ability to lead and deliver in fast-paced environments where priorities shift to capture emerging technical and strategic opportunities. Your technical fluency in AI and LLM development cycles, along with experience managing programs in high-ambiguity AI environments, positions you as a key player in the evolving landscape of technology.

What you'll do

As the Director of Technical Program Management for Chrome and Web Ecosystem, you will have a direct influence on how the team operates and delivers on its mission. You will work closely with VPs of Engineering and Product Management to identify risks early, rebalance resources, and ensure commitment integrity. Your oversight of Chrome's release management will be crucial in maintaining the quality and timeliness of product launches. You will lead initiatives to adopt AI tooling and optimize core workflows, such as Taskflow, bug management, and portfolio management, to increase legibility and enable faster decision-making and launches. Your role will involve shaping the future of how products are built and shipped, ensuring that the team remains at the forefront of reinventing the browser and evolving the open web for the AI era. You will be a proactive, high-leverage partner, guiding your team through the complexities of technical program management while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
