Databricks is seeking a Senior Workday Developer to join their Business Systems Engineering team. You'll design and maintain integrations connecting Workday to various systems, utilizing skills in Workday Studio and integration architecture. This role requires expertise in optimizing HR systems and enhancing user experience.
You have 5+ years of experience in Workday development, with a strong focus on integration engineering. Your expertise includes designing and maintaining scalable Workday transformations using Workday Studio, Extend, Core Connectors, and EIB. You are a subject matter expert on integration architecture and development patterns, ensuring best practices are followed across the Workday ecosystem.
You possess a deep understanding of configuring and optimizing PECI integrations, including custom fields, mapping logic, and file formats. Your analytical skills enable you to investigate integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and effectively communicate findings to both business and technical stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams such as People, Payroll, IT, and InfoSec, as well as third-party vendors.
Experience with additional enterprise platforms like Salesforce and Netsuite is a plus. Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes will enhance your ability to streamline operations and improve the employee experience.
In this role, you will join the Business Systems Engineering team within the IT group at Databricks, focusing on optimizing business processes and technology. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain integrations that connect Workday to dozens of internal and external systems, supporting various teams including People, FP&A, and Payroll.
You will lead the technical planning, development, deployment, unit testing, and support of new and existing integrations. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of HR systems, ensuring they scale with Databricks' growth. You will design, build, and maintain scalable Workday transformations, creating custom applications to enhance user experience.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of HR systems. You will also be responsible for resolving payroll-related data issues and optimizing integration processes to enhance overall system performance.
