Verkada is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee key manufacturing efforts and NPI programs in Taipei. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams and vendors to ensure successful product launches.
You have a strong background in program management, particularly in hardware development, with experience overseeing new product introduction (NPI) programs. Your technical expertise allows you to effectively communicate with engineering teams and hold vendors accountable for their deliverables. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working hands-on to resolve issues as they arise. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is key to your success in this role.
You are familiar with the manufacturing processes and milestones such as EVT, DVT, and PVT, and understand the importance of build readiness and validation. Your experience in working with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, positions you well to drive projects forward. You are proactive in identifying potential hurdles and developing strategies to overcome them, ensuring that programs stay on track.
Experience in the physical security industry or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with working in international environments. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of working with various stakeholders across different regions. A background in engineering or a related technical field will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
As a Technical Program Manager at Verkada, you will oversee key milestones in the manufacturing process at our JDM R&D and factory facilities. You will work closely with engineering project managers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and design resources to ensure that all aspects of the product development lifecycle are executed smoothly. Your role will involve managing build readiness and FATP preparation, as well as troubleshooting validation and certification issues that may arise during the process.
You will be responsible for coordinating efforts between the US and Taipei offices, ensuring that communication flows effectively and that all teams are aligned on project goals. Your hands-on approach will be essential in driving programs from prototype to production, as you will need to engage directly with vendors and manufacturing partners to address challenges and keep projects moving forward.
In this role, you will also be expected to leverage your technical expertise to provide insights and guidance throughout the development process. You will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time, contributing to Verkada's mission of transforming physical security through innovative technology.
