Security Engineer – Identity & Privileged Access Management (IAM & PAM)

Who you are

You have a strong background in security engineering with a focus on identity and access management — your experience includes designing and implementing IAM and PAM solutions that enhance security while supporting business agility. You understand the importance of enforcing least-privilege access models and have worked with role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) in your previous roles.

You are familiar with strong authentication controls, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access — your expertise allows you to implement phishing-resistant authentication measures effectively. You have experience in regulated environments such as SOX, PCI-DSS, or HIPAA, which has equipped you with a solid understanding of compliance requirements and best practices in security.

Your knowledge of identity governance and administration (IGA) platforms is extensive — you have participated in access reviews and analytics, ensuring that access rights are appropriately granted, reviewed, and revoked. Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are a plus, but your practical experience is what truly sets you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM and PAM platforms that support workforce, privileged, and service identities across the enterprise. You will collaborate with IT Operations, Security Architecture, and Application Owners to ensure that identity and access management aligns with business risk and regulatory requirements.

You will enforce least-privilege access models and implement strong authentication controls, ensuring that access is appropriately managed and monitored. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures while maintaining operational efficiency and user experience.

You will also be tasked with managing privileged access, ensuring that access controls are in place to protect sensitive information and systems. Your expertise will help reduce over-provisioned access and ensure that access is granted based on business needs and security best practices.
