Apple is seeking a Business Traveler Compliance Immigration Product Manager to oversee compliance for short-term business travelers. You'll ensure adherence to immigration laws and collaborate on technology system enhancements. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
You have a strong background in managing compliance processes, particularly in the context of immigration and labor laws. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams to ensure that business travelers receive excellent service while adhering to all necessary regulations. You possess the ability to problem-solve effectively and work independently, demonstrating a proactive approach to managing compliance issues. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
You are familiar with technology systems related to immigration compliance and have experience in project management, particularly in implementing system enhancements. You understand the importance of user acceptance testing and can manage the end-to-end process of technology implementation. Your analytical skills enable you to research and interpret complex regulations, ensuring that your team is always informed and compliant.
Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the specific challenges faced by business travelers in a global context. You may have worked on projects related to new store openings or country-specific expansions, providing you with insights into the unique compliance needs of different regions. A background in customer service or client-facing roles will enhance your ability to deliver excellent service to business travelers and internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will act as the primary representative for immigration technology developments within the Business Traveler Compliance team. You will collect feedback from your colleagues to inform system enhancements and communicate any upcoming technical changes that may impact the product ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include project managing technology system implementations and enhancements, ensuring that all compliance changes are effectively integrated into the employee experience.
You will support complex immigration programs and projects, such as new store openings and country-specific expansions, ensuring that all aspects of compliance are addressed. Your role will require you to demonstrate proactive communication and excellent service delivery, escalating potential issues to senior managers as necessary. You will also be responsible for researching, interpreting, and cross-referencing immigration rules and guidance, utilizing feedback from vendors and government sources to inform your work.
