Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Test Automation Engineer II to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance, scalability, stability, and performance of our applications under various load conditions. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to design, develop, and execute quality automation testing that drive product excellence. In this role, you will drive significant impact on customer experience and team performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute Product testing strategies for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Integrate tests suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate test outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Quality test framework is developed and maintained 
  • Enhance the framework to assist QA schedule to be in line with the development cycle.
  • Challenge and drive improvements to existing processes, focusing on high quality standards,  increasing efficiency, code quality, and overall product health.
  • Contribute to technical documentation (design docs, API documentation, release notes).
  • Proactively evaluate, recommend, and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to keep the quality engineering stack current and competitive.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 2+ years of commercial Software Quality Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of QA and test architecture.
  • Experience in cloud-native API and microservices Quality assurance.
  • Experience with enterprise Test frameworks and automation
  • Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Good understanding of integration patterns (pub/sub, webhook, ETL, etc.).
  • Debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
