  • Guide the design and implementation of moderately to highly complex systems, making tradeoffs, presenting proposals, and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Apply expertise in cloud environments, serverless functions, and LLM-based applications to deliver scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions.
  • Significantly improve application security, reliability, performance, and ease of operations.
  • Represent the team as a technical contact in cross-functional discussions with stakeholders and partners.
  • Manage and develop a small team of junior software engineers; conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Drive team execution through planning, tracking, and visibility, ensuring delivery aligns with organizational priorities.
  • Participate in technical hiring and help grow the Enterprise Applications team within Tech Ops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a team leadership or management role.
  • Collaborate on MCP server development, AI agent design, and LLM optimization to enhance system capabilities
  • Proven expertise with AWS Lamda, AWS Step Functions, Node.js, Python, React, Postgres, and modern enterprise application development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), serverless architectures, and building integrations with LLM-powered applications and agents.
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI in the development workflow (e.g., code generation, test automation, debugging, architecture exploration) to improve productivity, quality, and innovation.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across enterprise platforms to enhance secure user authentication and seamless access.
  • Solid foundation in distributed systems, API design, and application security.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex solutions while leading others.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to represent engineering in cross-functional discussions.
  • Track record of mentoring engineers and contributing to technical hiring.
