Datadog is seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales leader to drive the growth of their Enterprise Security Sales organization. You'll collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives and lead a team to establish Datadog as a trusted partner in security. This role requires strategic thinking and experience in sales leadership.
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the enterprise security domain, with at least 5 years of experience managing high-performing sales teams. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion. You are data-driven and understand how to leverage analytics to inform decision-making and optimize sales processes. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align on goals and drive customer value. You are passionate about building relationships with clients, particularly with CISOs and security leadership teams, and you understand the nuances of the security landscape. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, valuing both in-person collaboration and the flexibility of remote work.
Experience in scaling security businesses and a deep understanding of the security market landscape are highly desirable. Familiarity with Datadog’s products and services will give you an edge in this role, as will a network of contacts within the enterprise security community.
In this role, you will lead the Enterprise Security Sales organization, focusing on scaling Datadog’s security business through effective co-selling with Enterprise Account Executives. You will be responsible for recruiting, building, and managing a world-class team of Enterprise Security Directors and Sales Specialists. Your leadership will ensure that security resources are deployed effectively to influence pipeline creation and deal progression across Datadog’s largest enterprise accounts. You will own the Enterprise Security revenue contribution and influence targets, ensuring consistent attainment through effective collaboration with your team. Additionally, you will inform and evolve Datadog’s Enterprise Security overlay strategy, including coverage models and rules of engagement. Your role will require you to stay abreast of market trends and customer needs, ensuring that Datadog remains a trusted partner in the security space.
