You possess the ability to register as in-house counsel in California, which is essential for this role. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with finance and accounting teams, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

You are adept at managing securities offerings and stock financings, demonstrating your capability in handling stockholder relations matters. Your knowledge of equity compensation matters, including the administration of various equity incentive plans, positions you as a valuable resource for the organization. You excel in negotiating corporate transactions and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, showcasing your comprehensive legal skill set.

What you'll do

As a Senior Corporate Counsel at SpaceX, you will take ownership of securities law compliance and corporate governance matters, providing essential support to the board. You will modernize board processes and committee charters, ensuring that governance policies are up to date and effective. Your role will involve architecting and implementing a compliance framework for various securities laws and regulations, including the 1933 Act and the 1934 Act.

You will collaborate closely with the finance and accounting teams to address matters related to internal controls and audit compliance. Managing securities offerings and stock financings will be a key responsibility, as will advising on equity compensation matters. You will negotiate corporate transactions in close cooperation with the in-house finance team, ensuring that all agreements are beneficial and legally sound.
