Overview

Apple is seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join their Services Engineering team in Seattle. You'll be responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience on the App Store through client-side application testing and automation. This role requires 3+ years of QA Automation experience and proficiency in OS X and iOS.

Who you are

You have 3+ years of QA Automation and Testing experience specifically focused on client-side applications — you understand the intricacies of ensuring quality in software that connects to billions of devices across Apple platforms. Your proficiency in client-server API and UI automation allows you to effectively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.

Your experience working with OS X and iOS gives you a solid foundation in Apple’s ecosystem — you are familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities that come with testing applications in this environment. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering a wonderful customer experience, understanding that quality is paramount in the services Apple provides.

You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can partner with cross-functional teams — your ability to communicate effectively with engineers and product managers ensures that quality is integrated into every stage of the development process. Desirable

What you'll do

As a QA Engineer on the Apple Services Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the App Store app — your work will directly impact the experience of millions of users worldwide. You will develop and execute automated tests for client-side applications, focusing on both API and UI automation to ensure seamless functionality.

You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and design test cases that cover all aspects of the application — your insights will help shape the development process and ensure that quality is prioritized from the outset.
