Google is seeking a Senior UX Designer for their Time Management AI team to create intuitive user experiences across multiple platforms. You'll collaborate with product management and engineering teams, requiring 8+ years of experience in product design and a strong portfolio.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in product design or UX. Your background includes working in a client-facing environment, where you've interfaced directly with business leadership and customers. You have experience designing across multiple platforms and collaborating with technical and design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and user interface mockups and prototypes. Your portfolio showcases multiple projects and your direct contributions to them.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, along with experience in marketing design, communication design, or branding strategy focused on bringing products to global marketplaces. You are skilled in using design systems and frameworks, and you have experience presenting to stakeholders, advocating for your team's objectives and ambitions. Excellent communication skills are essential, allowing you to articulate objectives and advocate for design excellence effectively.

What you'll do

As a Senior UX Designer at Google, you will take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy to use for billions of people around the globe. You will be involved in the entire design process, from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering partners to craft and execute AI products that build buy-in from stakeholders and peers. Your role will involve owning the experience of shipping new AI features and working with teams across Time Management UX and Workspace, including Gmail, Chat, Meet, Drive, Docs, and more. You will influence executive leaders and cross-functional partners to ship impactful and innovative features, ensuring that user experience remains at the forefront of product development.
