Senior QA Engineer

You have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering, particularly in automation testing. Your expertise in Java and familiarity with Selenium and REST Assured allows you to develop robust test frameworks that ensure high-quality software delivery. You possess a strong foundation in data validation and have a keen interest in machine learning or data science, which enhances your ability to contribute to innovative testing solutions. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for improving product quality through automation. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that quality is integrated throughout the development process. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Desirable

Experience with integrating AI into testing processes is a plus, as is familiarity with MCP server frameworks. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you a valuable team member.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites in Java. You will utilize Selenium for UI testing and REST Assured for API regression, functional, and integration automation. Your responsibilities will include designing and automating complex tests for data validation, end-to-end scenarios, and backend verification. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business goals. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to existing testing processes, leveraging your knowledge of machine learning to enhance automation capabilities. Your work will directly contribute to the overall quality of Tekion's automotive platform, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by customers.
