Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in managing strategic partnerships, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships is key — you understand the importance of aligning partner goals with business objectives. You are skilled in developing comprehensive business plans that encompass sales, marketing, and technical strategies, ensuring that partners are equipped to succeed in their Tanium business.

Your experience in the technology sector has given you a deep understanding of how to leverage partner ecosystems to drive growth. You are adept at identifying opportunities for collaboration and have a knack for educating internal teams about partner value propositions. You thrive in environments where you can influence and guide partners to enhance their service offerings.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can navigate the intricacies of partner dynamics. Your strategic mindset enables you to foresee challenges and proactively address them, ensuring that both Tanium and its partners achieve their goals.

Desirable

Experience in cybersecurity or IT services is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique challenges faced by partners in this space. Familiarity with sales processes and go-to-market strategies will enhance your ability to drive results. A background in business development or account management will also be beneficial, as it will provide you with the skills needed to negotiate and close deals effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the single point of contact for Tanium's most strategic partners, responsible for driving growth and ensuring their success. You will develop and execute advanced business plans that outline detailed strategies for sales, marketing, and technical support. Your focus will be on increasing the partners' capabilities to sell and deliver Tanium services effectively.

You will work closely with partners to help them develop Tanium-based services that align with their sales efforts and customer needs. This involves educating Tanium's sales teams about the unique value propositions of each partner, ensuring that they are well-equipped to collaborate effectively. You will also be responsible for tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies as necessary to meet sales targets.

Building strong executive-level relationships will be a critical part of your role. You will engage with key stakeholders within partner organizations to foster investment and commitment to the Tanium business. Your ability to influence and motivate partners will be essential in driving mutual success.
