Propulsion Build Engineer (Starship)

You have a strong background in engineering, particularly in manufacturing processes and tooling design. Your experience includes working with pressurized components and systems, and you are familiar with the challenges of high-rate manufacturing. What you'll do

As a Propulsion Build Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for developing and refining build processes for the Starship propulsion systems. You will engage closely with design teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency in production. Your role will involve designing tooling for assembly, welding, and part fixturing, as well as overseeing the physical builds of propulsion systems. You will participate in the integration of flight-critical hardware and ensure that all components meet stringent safety and performance standards. Additionally, you will be involved in testing and data review, working with cryogenic fluids and pressurized test setups. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Starship program, as you help drive the development of technologies that enable human life on Mars. You will also have the opportunity to act as a supervisor, guiding technicians and ensuring that production goals are met.
