Block is seeking an SMB Account Executive to join their Clearpay team in London. You'll be responsible for developing outbound strategies, sourcing leads, and closing deals with SMB merchants. This role requires strong communication skills and a background in new logo sales.
You have a strong background in new logo sales and a self-starter disposition — you thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven to connect customers with brands they love. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build trusted rapport with prospects, allowing you to negotiate and close complex deals effectively. You understand the needs of merchants and can execute a sales motion using a consultative approach. You are diligent and detail-oriented, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and productive.
Experience in the payments or fintech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with various merchant verticals. You are comfortable with prospecting, conducting discovery calls, and delivering product demos that resonate with potential clients. Your ability to adapt and tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of each merchant sets you apart from the competition.
As an SMB Account Executive at Clearpay, you will work closely with the Business Development team to build a robust book of business. You will create your own outbound strategy, focusing on sourcing leads through cold calls and emails to generate interest in Clearpay's offerings. Your role will involve conducting prospecting activities, discovery calls, and product demonstrations to showcase how Clearpay can meet the needs of SMB merchants. You will be responsible for delivering a predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process that drives revenue growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you propose align with the overall business strategy and meet the expectations of your clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to close deals and contribute to the growth of Clearpay's market presence.
