What you'll do

In your role as IT Engineer II at AllTrails, you will take ownership of the MDM environment, focusing on maturing the existing setup to enhance organizational security. You will be responsible for developing and implementing lifecycle management strategies that ensure all devices are properly managed and secured throughout their lifecycle.

You will work closely with the Engineering Manager, DevOps, to automate repetitive IT tasks, allowing the team to focus on more strategic initiatives. Your role will involve managing the infrastructure, including network and audio/visual systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance and reliability.

Collaboration with the People team will be a key aspect of your role, as you will help create a seamless IT experience for new hires and departing employees. This includes setting up devices, ensuring access to necessary tools, and providing support during the onboarding process.

You will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement within the IT infrastructure and proposing solutions that align with the company's goals. Your insights will help shape the future of IT operations at AllTrails, contributing to a more efficient and secure environment for all employees.
