Google is seeking a Policy Enforcement Manager for YouTube's Trust and Safety team. You'll work on safeguarding the platform's integrity and managing content trends while utilizing skills in SQL and program management. This role requires 4 years of experience in trust and safety operations.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 4 years of experience working in trust and safety or operations, particularly in scaled vendor operations or vendor management. Your background includes 2 years of experience in program management or stakeholder management, showcasing your ability to navigate complex organizational structures. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to influence cross-functionally at various levels. Additionally, your proficiency in SQL and experience in building dashboards, data collection, and visualization will be invaluable in this role. You are proactive and thrive in fast-paced environments, making you well-suited for the dynamic nature of YouTube’s Trust & Safety team.
As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you will collaborate with a global team from various departments, including Policy, Enforcement, Product, Engineering, and Legal, to enhance the integrity of YouTube. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate abuse trends and manage content trends to identify potential community guideline violations. You will execute misinformation strategies in close partnership with legal and product teams, ensuring that initiatives are clearly communicated to management and the broader organization. Your role will involve working on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, addressing online content concerns, and navigating global legal frameworks. You will also be responsible for communicating initiatives to stakeholders on misinformation issues, ensuring that real-time support is provided for regional escalations. Your ability to communicate in Portuguese will be an asset in this role, allowing you to support diverse teams effectively.
