Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive in a SaaS or equivalent environment, demonstrating a strong ability to close deals and drive sales growth. Your background includes direct SaaS/Cloud selling experience, which has equipped you with the skills to engage effectively with clients and understand their business needs. You are comfortable conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives, employing solution-selling techniques to guide the sales process to a successful close.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales Development teams to establish a healthy pipeline. Your proficiency in leveraging technology to optimize efficiency is evident as you log all activities and create client demos, presentations, and proposals that enhance the customer experience. You are adept at utilizing Salesforce CRM for timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates, ensuring that you maintain a clear view of your sales pipeline.

You stay informed about product lines, competition, and industry trends that may impact client business activities, allowing you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to your clients. Your ability to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement is complemented by your commitment to resolving client issues in a timely and thorough manner, escalating issues to management as appropriate. You are driven by a desire to create satisfied customers and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Desirable

Experience in unified communications, contact center solutions, and communications APIs is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to match clients with the right solutions. You are ready to innovate and make a significant impact in the cloud communications space.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join Vonage's Inside Sales team, where your primary responsibility will be to drive growth by matching customers with Vonage’s business communications solutions. You will work directly with companies that have an employee count of up to 150, utilizing a sourced and qualified inbound sales model. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the Sales Development team to establish a healthy sales pipeline, leveraging the tech stack to optimize your efficiency, and logging all activities accurately.

You will create client demos, presentations, quotes, and proposals to ensure an efficient and customer-centric experience. Conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives will be a regular part of your day, as you address their business needs and employ solution-selling techniques to effectively guide the sales process to close.

Utilizing Salesforce CRM, you will provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates, working strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities and challenges, and provide recommended solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving client issues in a timely and thorough manner, escalating issues to your manager as appropriate.

Staying informed of product lines, competition, and industry trends will be crucial in this role, as it will enable you to provide valuable insights that may impact client business activities. Your ability to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement will contribute to the overall success of the sales team, and you will play a key role in creating satisfied customers.
