The Job

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager of Security Engineering Development to lead our security engineering initiatives and drive the development of robust security solutions. Reporting to the Sr Director of Security Development and working closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security Strategist you will be responsible for overseeing a team of security engineers to design, implement, and maintain automation around security controls and processes across all security domains. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the security posture of Own and ensure the protection of our systems, data, and infrastructure through innovation and creativity.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of automated preventative, detective and remediation security measures to protect against emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Drive the design and implementation of security architectures that are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and engineer security processes, including the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), to integrate security seamlessly into our development workflows and with pipelines and tools.
  • Partner closely with Governance teams around CCM.
  • Partner closely with Ops teams around detection, alert and SOAR.
  • Own vulnerability management processes integration, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities flow.
  • Coordinate and automate elements of penetration testing, security assessments, and threat modeling activities to identify and address security risks proactively.
  • Implement effective change management processes to ensure that security controls are maintained and updated in response to changing threats and business requirements.
  • Drive evidence gathering and documentation efforts to support internal audits, regulatory compliance, and customer security assessments.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to address security requirements and concerns, providing guidance and assurance as needed.

Your Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security engineering, automation, architecture, and process development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing security controls and processes in a complex, multi-cloud environment.
  • Deep understanding of secure software development principles, including secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
  • Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security assessment methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy and security regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate security risks effectively.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
