Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and evolving large-scale systems. Your background includes a strong focus on both software and systems engineering, allowing you to tackle complex challenges in storage infrastructure. You are proficient in programming languages such as Go, C++, and Python, and you have a solid understanding of system internals. You thrive in environments where you can analyze and troubleshoot issues, making data-driven decisions to improve system performance and efficiency.

You possess a deep understanding of data models and data access patterns, which enables you to collaborate effectively with product teams to enhance the underlying storage technologies. Your analytical skills allow you to conduct thorough troubleshooting and analysis, helping to identify and resolve issues as Reddit scales its operations. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize workflows and enhance system availability.

Experience with large-scale storage systems is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven analysis techniques. You may also have experience in automating workflows and enhancing operational efficiency within complex systems. What you'll do
