Overview

WorkBoard is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide hands-on support across accounting, finance, and operational workflows. This role requires adaptability and experience in managing financial records and reports. You'll work in a remote capacity from Bulgaria.

Who you are

You are an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounting and finance. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with ambiguity, allowing you to deliver strong outcomes independently. Your expertise includes managing daily and month-end tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and expense management. You maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliations, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

You have experience coordinating with external accountants and auditors for tax, reporting, and compliance requirements. Your ability to provide accounting and operational support for international entities showcases your versatility and adaptability in various financial contexts. You are a humble expert, hungry for opportunities to grow and contribute to a mission-driven team.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with AI-driven strategy execution solutions or experience in a tech-driven environment would be advantageous. You are intellectually honest and operate as part of a happy team, aligning with WorkBoard's values.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage daily accounting tasks, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will support month-end closing processes, preparing financial reports and dashboards that provide insights into the company's financial health.
