Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects in electronics manufacturing. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met. This role requires a background in engineering or production management and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field and have at least 2 years of experience in operations program management, specifically in electronics manufacturing projects. You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to achieve new product goals, including quality, yield, and cost. Your ability to engage in complex technical discussions in English or Mandarin is a strong asset, and you believe that no issue is truly resolved until it is addressed for everyone involved. You are passionate about building products that create opportunities for people, whether in your local community or globally.
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span multiple offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate team members and keep them updated on progress and deadlines. You will serve as the primary manufacturing interface for product development and introduction, ensuring that production processes meet productivity goals and product quality standards. You will provide independent operational insights to the product development team and take on the role of operations lead in resolving complex operational program issues.
