Instacart is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance Data Analytics to empower the Finance and Accounting organization with actionable data solutions. You'll leverage SQL and data analytics to streamline financial reporting and support strategic decision-making. This role requires significant experience in finance and data management.
You have over 5 years of experience in finance data analytics, blending business acumen with technical expertise to deliver high-value data solutions. Your background includes a strong understanding of financial systems and data management, enabling you to empower finance teams with actionable insights. You are proficient in SQL and have a knack for transforming complex data into clear, strategic recommendations that drive business decisions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial reporting is accurate and timely. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify trends and opportunities within financial data. You are passionate about using data to influence strategic decisions and improve financial performance.
Experience with data visualization tools and financial modeling is a plus. Familiarity with the grocery or e-commerce industry can enhance your ability to understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
In this role, you will lead the FinSys Analytics Team, focusing on providing accurate and actionable data solutions to the Finance and Accounting organization. You will oversee the development and maintenance of data products that streamline financial reporting processes and facilitate deep analysis. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with finance stakeholders to understand their data needs and translating those into technical requirements for your team. You will also be responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy across financial systems, implementing best practices for data management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization. Additionally, you will present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions based on your insights.

We provide competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $168,000 to $225,000 depending on your location and experience. You will also be eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
