Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with multiple stakeholders and manage trials and negotiations. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and managing complex sales processes. You understand the importance of building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to drive business growth. Your experience includes negotiating pricing and managing trials effectively, ensuring that customers see the value in the solutions you offer. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST, to meet customer needs. You are motivated by the opportunity to help organizations harness IoT data to improve their operations and are excited about the impact of technology on physical operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud to mid-sized customers. You will engage in sales cycles that typically involve transactions ranging from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts and trials effectively. You will work closely with potential customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's solutions can provide actionable insights to improve their operations. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that you address their concerns and highlight the benefits of the technology. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers, helping them realize the value of their investment in IoT solutions.
