You have a strong background in machine learning, with experience in developing and applying advanced algorithms to real-world challenges. Your expertise allows you to contribute to the development of robust and generalizable deep neural networks that enhance the capabilities of autonomous systems. Desirable

Experience with predictive modeling and planning systems is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest advancements in machine learning frameworks and tools. What you'll do

In this role, you will develop the next-generation machine learning-powered prediction and planning system that enhances the performance of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will research, develop, and apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques to predict future states and plan the behavior of the Waymo Driver. Your work will directly contribute to the scaling of Waymo's business and the safety of its autonomous vehicles. You will collaborate with a team of experts to analyze vast amounts of driving data, ensuring that the models you create are robust and efficient in navigating complex environments.

You will also engage in continuous learning and experimentation, staying up-to-date with the latest research in machine learning and applying those insights to improve Waymo's systems. Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with participation in an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
